The Organization Area looks at the culture,
roles, capabilities, team structure,
organizational units and support systems
of the people in the enterprise.
- Location
The Location Area addresses the physical
facilities of where the enterprise does
executes its business.
- Application
The Application Area addresses the
capabilities, structure, and user
interface of software provided for
the business users. It can be specific
to the business such as a billing system
or general in nature such as word
processing or an electronic spreadsheet.

The Data Area focuses on the
structure, relationship, data content
and rules associated with the
information the enterprise
retains permanently.
- Technology
The Technology Area addresses the
hardware, system software, and
communications components used to
support the enterprise.
